'iStand with Israel' Compilation Project Features House of Peace

With this highly-anticipated, 12-song effort, which released on August 7, 2012 from City of Peace Media/Sony Provident, House of Peace partnered with Dove Award winning producer Ed Cash and the project includes an array of other outstanding artists, who all have a common goal to share God’s heart for Israel.

"House of Peace has a heart for Israel, as well as the body of Christ to encourage Christians to reach the lost," said House of Peace band member, David Liscum. "Ultimately, we desire to exalt God through our music and ministry."

Breathecast reviewer Neshell Hogan said, " ‘King of the Universe,’ performed by worship artist House of Peace, symbolizes the beauty, majesty, and divine nature of God. This track has very powerful lyrics that are straight to the point and paint a vivid picture of worship for the listener. It takes us on a journey of how the singer finds God's presence in everything from the oceans to the rain and is awed by His greatness. Once you really get a grasp on the lyrics as a whole, it is a very humbling experience and reminder of God's wonder."

House of Peace’s influences range from Chris Tomlin, IHOP, Bethel, Coldplay, Harbour Live, and Andrew Ehrenzeller, among others. The band’s songs and their messages offer the hope of Christ to a lost and dying world.

"King of the Universe," produced by Ed Cash is currently receiving multiple adds and rotations from radio stations across the country and abroad. House of Peace is also making a strong impression with music retailers.

iStand with Israel CD is now available at online retailers and at select Christian stores, nationwide. For more information about House of Peace, visit www.HouseofPeaceBand.com and www.Facebook.com/HouseofPeaceMusic.

King of the Universe - Song - Lyrics

King of the Universe - House of Peace

I look up in the sky and see Your everlasting Beauty
I walk along the shores and see waves of mercy waves of mercy
I sit in the rain and feel Your presence and Your truth revealed

Your creation longs for Your return, Your return

You bring forth the bread You bring forth the wine
Everything you touch is holy and divine

King of the Universe blessed are You blessed are You

King of the Universe blessed are You blessed are You
King of the Universe blessed are You blessed are You
blessed are You blessed are You God

I sit in the cool of night, I listen for Your voice so quiet
I long to wait for Your word, for Your word
I sit on the sand and hear the ocean roar as you draw near
Your creation longs for Your return, Your return

You are my King my King
You are my King my King
You are my Love You are my Love

iStand with Israel - Spreading the Gospel

iStand with Israel - spreading the Gospel

One of the reasons we were so excited when we heard
we were going to be a part of the "iStand with Israel"
project is that we have a strong heart for Israel.
We believe we are in the 11th hour, and the world stage
is being set. Because of these near realities, we must
spread the Gospel everywhere including Israel.

Today in America, the church spends all kinds of crazy money
in Israel. I have seen everything from organizations buying
tanks for the Israeli army, to excavation trips, archeology trips,
bible tours, political groups, luxury vacations, and even sending
money to non Christian organizations.

Israel needs the Gospel just like everywhere else. Christians should
not be distracted with all these groups that are NOT centered on the
Gospel. No matter where your theology lies, we are called to all nations
this includes Israel.

I am asking and challenging believers to wake up concerning Israel.
Please support those that want to further the Gospel and minister in
Israel through mission trips and not just tourism. You can support
an Israeli church or a missionary.

"iStand with Israel" is a reminder to stand with Israel by
supporting the Gospel in Israel. We hope the iStand with Israel
CD ministers to your spirit. Put the booklet on your desk or on
your refrigerator to pray for those in Israel that their eyes
would be open to the reality of Yeshua their savior.

City of Peace multi-artist project 'IStand with Israel' Album Review (Breathecast)

 By Neshell Hogan, BREATHEcast reviewer

Modern worship artists come together for a greater cause creating, "iStand With Israel." This album is a musical movement to unite America with the nation of Israel and for Christians to come together in prayer for the salvation of Israel. Inspired by Genesis 12:3 ("I will bless those who bless you"), award winning singers from City of Peace Media, as well as worship artists from the land of Israel, bring their talents and passion together to create one original and inspiring album.
"King of the Universe," performed by American worship artist "House of Peace," symbolizes the beauty, majesty, and divine nature of God. This track has very powerful lyrics that are straight to the point and paint a vivid picture of worship for the listener. It takes us on a journey of how the singer finds God's presence in everything from the oceans to the rain and is awed by His greatness. Once you really get a grasp on the lyrics as a whole, it is a very humbling experience and reminder of God's wonder.

PREVIEW THE ALBUM in the video below.

"The Forgotten People," written in remembrance of Holocaust victims, is one track that is guaranteed to stand out. Coming in at nine minutes and twenty-six seconds, the song starts off with an audio recording of Hitler instructing his army. The track grabs your attention even before the actual song plays.  The lyrics are intense and do not shy away from even the most graphic detail. Even though they openly discuss Holocaust events, it's not meant to be a doom and gloom song. It's meant to show as a reminder of how tragic the Holocaust event is and to make sure history never repeats itself. The intensity of the song is meant to bring together nations and stand against injustice no matter the location. Even though this song is meant to give off a positive outlook towards change, the lyrics may be too much for some listeners.

Another beautiful song off of the album is "Garden of Secrets" performed by Shani Ferguson. Starting off as a hush toned piano ballad, it gives a sense of intimacy and even effects of eeriness evolving into operatic elements. The construction of the song itself is impressive and very moving. "In the garden we dance and He lifts up my face," the lyrics are personal, yet you can imagine yourself in the singer's shoes which give this song such an original style.

1.      King of the Universe
2.      Passover Lamb
3.      Beloved
4.      Rejoice
5.      Al Tiru (Fear Not)
6.      A Thousand Generations
7.      As For Me and My House
8.      The Forgotten People
9.      Never Again
10.  Garden of Secrets
11.  Baruch Atah Adonai
12.  Bless Us and Keep Us

Lots of different sounds, vocals, lyrics, and perspectives from different nations make up this album. The creativity brought forth is reason enough to enjoy this album, but the purpose behind the album is what makes it so special and important to be heard. Anything that represents peace, prayer, and faith is worth listening to and these artists came together and did so wonderfully.

City Of Peace Media to Release iSTAND WITH ISRAEL August 7

City Of Peace Media has announced the August 7 release of iStand With Israel, a 12-song, multi-artist project. The CD features worship music by City Of Peace Media recording artists, including American worship artists House of Peace, the new modern worship band set to debut in 2013 with Grammy and Dove Award winning producer Ed Cash; Dove Award-nominated CCM artist John Waller; critically-acclaimed modern worship artist Jordan Elias; Covenant Award winner and Dove Award nominee Sean Spicer (with special guest Tilly Cryar); and international worship leader Ted Pearce. The CD also features worship artists from the land of Israel - Shani Ferguson, Karen Davis, and Marc Chopinsky. All of these artists share a common call to share God's heart for Israel in these important days.

"The United States of America and the nation of Israel share a common foundation - both were built on the cornerstone of God's Word and the shared Judeo-Christian faith and principles of our forefathers," says City Of Peace Media President and Founder, Yochanan Marcellino. "For Christians, the modern nation and people of Israel represents more than just a democracy in the Middle East, or an ancient civilization that God once loved...Israel represents fulfillment of Biblical prophecy, our spiritual heritage as believers, the roots of our faith and our heavenly inheritance. The modern nation of Israel is a picture of the sovereignty of God and His faithfulness in keeping His covenants. This critical hour in which we live demands solidarity with and support of Israel on the part of Christians everywhere."

"This is a year of decision," says Don Noes, City of Peace Media Chief Operating Officer. "As Christians and Americans, we must ask ourselves a very important question: Will we turn away from the Biblical foundation on which our nation was built and by which we've been blessed? Will we turn our backs on the nation of Israel, or will we stand with her when it seems the rest of the world is her enemy? As it says in Genesis 12:3, God promises to bless those who bless His chosen people, Israel."
Because worship has always played a critical role in preparing the spiritual atmosphere for a move of the Spirit of God, City Of Peace Media offers iStand With Israel as a means of preparing the spiritual atmosphere in America for God's people to awaken to God's heart for Israel.

"God is using worshippers to prepare the hearts of Christians everywhere to turn their hearts back to Israel, where it all began," says Marcellino. "The iStand With Israel worship album features artists who have an understanding of God's heart and prophetic purposes for Israel, and reflects God's unfailing love and faithfulness to His people, both Jew and Gentile."

iStand With Israel contains powerful songs of adoration, including the beautiful contemporary hymn, "King of the Universe" by House of Peace; songs of praise, like Marc Chopinsky's "Baruch Atah Adonai (Blessed Are You Lord);" and songs of encouragement, such as the "Al Tiru (Fear Not)" by Karen Davis, with its compelling amalgam of contemporary and ancient rhythms. Jordan Elias' earnest passion permeates the spiritual love song, "Beloved" and the uplifting ballad, "Rejoice." Shani Ferguson shares her own intimate ballad with the Song of Solomon-inspired "Garden of Secrets." Ted Pearce brings his award-winning Holocaust remembrance anthem, "The Forgotten People," while John Waller issues the classic challenge from Bible verse Joshua 24:15 (Choose this day who you will serve) on his declaration hymn, "As For Me And My House." Sean Spicer joins forces with Tilly Cryar (daughter of CCM pioneer, Morgan Cryar) on the jazz-inflected "A Thousand Generations."

iStand With Israel will be released through City Of Peace Media and distributed to the Christian marketplace through Provident Music Distribution and to the mainstream through Sony. For more information on City Of Peace Media and iStand With Israel, visit cityofpeace.com.
